Professional Bio
In the mid 1990s, I began my journey of learning the carpentry trade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I apprenticed with a master carpenter on historic, residential renovation projects. From there I moved to rural PA, where I accumulated more experience rehabilitating old houses. I relocated to southeastern Vermont in 2004 and have been building a client base across Windham County ever since.
In my 25 years of professional experience, I have amassed skills in all areas of carpentry while specializing in the restoration and renovation of old buildings. I have a deep regard for historical structures and am able to preserve the aesthetics of the past while employing new concepts and technologies to get the job done. I have expertise working on porches, exterior restoration projects and rot repairs. I also currently offer comprehensive services on new construction, additions, tile, cabinets, structural repairs, kitchen and bathroom renovations, outbuildings, decks, garden projects and more.
While the quality of my work speaks for itself, I’m also adept in customer relations. I have built a regional reputation of being friendly and pleasant to work with, accommodating, detail-oriented and reasonably priced. I consistently emphasize a client-led decision making process, and customer satisfaction is my ultimate aim.
If you’re looking to brainstorm renovation ideas or start a seasonal project, please contact me for a free estimate. I am happy to provide photos of previous work and references upon request, and I’m available year-round for indoor and outdoor projects.
